Honda CB Shine Overview
Honda has launched the 2018 CB Shine in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs. 62,032 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The bike comes with sportier and more stylish appearance compared to the previous model. The bike gets a new and more aggressive looking fuel tank, new tank shrouds, a fresh instrument cluster with a service due indicator and a clock. It also features sportier body graphics.
So far, the new Honda Shine looks pretty appealing from every angle without ditching the practical commuter look. The commuter bike gets the comfortable seat for the rider and the pillion rider as well, while the prominent grab rail at the back ensures a good grip. A narrow tail section, compact and sharp looking fuel tank, chrome plating on the exhaust muzzle are the other design elements visible there.
The 2018 Honda CB Shine comes running on black alloy wheels wrapped with meaty Honda Eco Technology (HET) tyres. These tyres ensure low rolling resistance and better fuel efficiency. It is available in five different colour options that are Pearl Siren Blue, Geny Grey Metallic, Black, Athletic Blue Metallic and Imperial Red Metallic.

The Honda CB Shine comes powered by a 124.73 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine coupled with a 5-speed gearbox. The engine is well capable if churning out 10.57 bhp of peak torque at 7,500 rpm and 10.30 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm.

With just 38000KM in eight year Engine failed.

I operate in Hyderabad city average 13 KM per day within 45KM speed range. At 50 KM it vibrates. The bike was giving good average of 55KM/Lit, but after repair it has gone down to 40 to 45KM/Lit. I laugh on my self and repent having purchased the bike that too with 3 month waiting period. Read full review »
