Fastest 2020 Supra

The Toyota Supra is indeed an awesome piece of Japanese machinery as it evolves through the decades. Even its latest four-cylinder iteration is no slouch. Plus, some owners have taken their sweet time modifying their Supras as they like, to the point where one can become a drag monster. A prime example would be this 2020 Toyota Supra, which could be the quickest and fastest MKV Supra on earth.

When The Supra's Owner Is A Tuner

This Toyota Supra A90 is owned and tuned by Mikey (@stimikey on Intagram). Wrapped in an audacious red finish, this A90 Supra features some odd-colored wheels and one functioning headlight. The other headlight has been replaced by a hole going through the engine bay (perhaps for better airflow?).

While a stock Supra has around 385 hp of max output (with 370 lb-ft of peak torque), Mikey's drive offers more than double. As a tuner, Mikey certainly knows what should be installed in his Supra to make it more powerful, making some modifications to the engine while adding a couple of bolt-ons.

Rated Power: 950 Horses And 950 Pound-Feet Of Torque

Under the hood, the Supra's BMW-sourced engine complemented by a Ghassan-built G1000 piston rod motor (Ghassan specializes in BMW engines), basic piston rod gaskets as well as Extreme Turbo Systems 6870 Turbo Kit. A built transmission was also shoved in, while the sports car rides on stock suspension.

This powertrain setup is supported by a twin-stage nitrous system. The first tank provides 150 shots to the fuel system as the Supra leaves the starting line. Then, the second tank provides 35 shots as the Supra charges through the half-mile drag strip. According to Mikey, the Supra delivers 950 hp of output and 950 lb-ft of torque on the 35 shot.

These modifications led to incredible results. Driving without using the second tank (35 shot), Mikey's girlfriend Ashley (@papa.fit on Instagram) managed to complete the quarter mile in 8.821 seconds for a trap speed of 156.17 seconds.

For a moment, she held the quickest time and fastest pass for an MKV Supra. Then, Mikey recorded a quarter-mile time of 8.783 seconds for a trap speed of 153.02 seconds. Well, she's still the fastest MKV Supra driver on the drag strip. Prior to their runs, the MKV Supra quarter-mile record was 9.313 seconds at 147.67 mph.
